3-hr workshop on note-taking for medical interpreters offered online next week

You have been meaning to start learning more about note-taking for years, but every time you start, it feels insurmountable: you are not sure where to begin, how to remember all those symbols, and even whether you are allowed to take notes in a healthcare setting.

note-taking workshop in Worcester, MA February 2016

Well, you no longer have any excuses. On Thursday, June 2nd, I am leading a three-hour workshop online through the Berkshire AHEC (Area Healthcare Education Center), from 6pm-9:15pm EST. The cost is only $30, plus another $20 if you are certified and need CEUs for the NBCMI or CCHI.

This is the fourth time I am presenting this workshop in 2016, and the first time it's online -- a great opportunity for those of you who do not live in New England. Past participants have made me blush with their praise. A previously skeptical attendee said he took my workshop a second time because the day after the first one (during which he doubted its applicability) he took notes while interpreting and realized how valuable the workshop had been. Another participant thanked me profusely and said "Let us know when the next workshop is -- no matter the topic -- we loved the presentation!"

So come see what others are talking about and take the first step toward becoming an expert note-taker during healthcare encounters.
